Private Homeowner

A homeowner in Nottinghamshire was looking to upgrade the roof of an existing timber garden shed that had begun to deteriorate due to age and weather exposure.

The aim was to replace the old roofing material with a durable, low-maintenance solution that would also improve the appearance of the shed.

Project Overview

The original shed roof had suffered from leaks and weather damage over time. The client wanted a roofing solution that would:

  • Provide better weather protection
  • Improve the appearance of the garden building
  • Be straightforward to install on a timber structure
  • Require minimal long-term maintenance

As the shed sits in a visible part of the
garden, aesthetics were also an important consideration

The Solution

We supplied tile effect steel roofing sheets, designed to replicate the appearance of traditional roof tiles while remaining lightweight and practical for smaller buildings such as sheds, garages, and garden rooms.

 The materials package included:

  • Tile effect roofing sheets
  • Ridge pieces and verge trims
  • Fixings and installation accessories

The tile effect profile helped give the shed a more traditional appearance that complemented the surrounding garden and house.

What our customers say...

Outstanding service, as always. Have just placed yet another order - even adding some last minute items - but they still managed to deliver on time. Really great guys - always helpful and the materials are first class. Would highly recommend, always.
